Mark Smith, Chairman of the Board

Mark Smith is the Vice President of Technology for Virtusa Corporation, a global information technology (IT) services company providing IT consulting, technology and outsourcing service, based in Westborough, MA.He received a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Williams in 1986.Mark was a staff member and board member for the Mayhew Program from 1981 through 1996, a non-profit organization that challenges and helps at-risk New Hampshire boys to believe in themselves, work well with others, and find their best.Mark has been coaching soccer for the last 17 years for the Amherst Soccer Club, the Nashua World Cup Soccer Club and the Inti Soccer Academy.He holds both a USSF National D and Youth license.

Raul Rosa, President

Raul Rosa, Sr. Financial Analyst for The Louis Berger Group, multinational engineering company based in New Jersey, received a 6 years bachelor program in Industrial Engineering from the University of Polytechnic de Madrid, Spain. He started as Project Manager in the Manchester Office in 2002, consulting the New Hampshire Department of Transportation to increase participation from disadvantage business in Federal funded construction contracts. After working for the State of NH for 3 years, he was offered a position in the Finance and Accounting Department where he has held several positions. Currently, he serves as Segment Controller for the International Business where he is responsible for a team of 16 employees and multiple projects in more than 10 countries. Raul, originally from Spain, grew up practicing soccer where belonged to several amateur soccer teams. He has served as coach for last seven years for the Exeter Soccer Team. He joined Inti attracted by its mission of serving underprivileged children thru educational and soccer programs. His commitment to children, passion for soccer and business mind got him to the presidency. Raul resides in Exeter, NH since 2001 with her wife Samantha and his 3 children, Zachary (13), Alexia (7) and Nicholas (4).

Rodrigo Marion, Member of the Board (co-founder, past Chairman and President ;)

Rodrigo Marion, an Urban Planner with the Central New Hampshire Planning Commission, received a Bachelors Degree in Economics and a Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University at Albany. Rodrigo has been coaching with the Olympic Develop Program (ODP) in New York and New Hampshire for the past 4 years. He was also coach of the U-14 girls premier team and U-10 boys at Seacoast United Soccer Club during 2007 and 2008. Rodrigo played for the University at Albany as team captain during his four years there. During his college career he was nominated to the all-Rookie and all-Conference team, and was named the University at Albany Men's soccer MVP. Rodrigo also played with the Western Massachusetts Pioneers professional team, The Strongest Club in La Paz, Bolivia, and U-17,19, 20, and 23 Bolivian National Team pool.

Max J. Latona, Ph.D, (co-founder; past Chairman)

Associate Professor of Philosophy at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH, Max Latona received his B.A. from Canisius College (Buffalo, NY) in 1993, and his doctorate in Philosophy from Boston College in 2001. He is published in several prominent journals in his field, and is the recipient of numerous awards, including the American Catholic Philosophical Association's Young Scholar Award (2004), Manchester Union Leader's "40-Under-40" Designation (2007), and (twice) the Saint Anselm College Abbot Gerald McCarthy O.S.B. Faculty Member of the Year Award (2006, 2008). Max Latona is also a facilitator for a federally funded initiative at Saint Anselm College entitled "Learning Liberty," which is concerned, in part, with enhancing civic engagement among students in higher education. He has also played soccer since a youth, coached youth soccer for 10 years, and served as a member of the Board of Directors of Tritown Youth Competitive Soccer for three years.

Jaime Pendleton, Chair, Soccer Committee (past Academic Director)

Jaime is a teacher at Parker Varney Elementary School, Manchester, NH Previously she taught at Elm Street Webster Elementary School and Green Acres School in Manchester, NH, since 2007. Jaime Pendleton received her B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Hartford in 2004. She received the Best Rookie Award and the Teacher Appreciation Award for her teaching work at the Jacob E. Manch Elementary School in Las Vegas (2005-7). Her passion for teaching stems, in part, from her desire to develop an education program where students will embrace the world around them as a learning tool. A skilled collegiate soccer player, Jaime Pendleton played Division 1 Soccer for four years at the University of Hartford, which won the America East championship in 2003, and made three NCAA conference appearances during her tenure there. She has had extensive experience coaching and training youth soccer for various clubs in central and southern NH since the year 2000.

Cynthia Lucero, M.Ed., Chair, Academic Program Committee

Field Placement Coordinator, Education Department, Saint Anselm College
B.S. andM.Ed., Notre Dame College. Cynthia Lucero joined the education department in 2007. She teaches Introduction to Special Education and Introduction to American Educa-tion. She also coordinates field placements for education courses, sophmore early field experience, and supervised student teaching. She supervises student teachers and stu-dents during their sophmore early field experience. Areas of professional interest included mentoring new teachers, supporting students with disabilities, student assessment, and special education. Cynthia is a Doctoral Candidate at Northeastern University.

Sharon Wason, Secretary

Ms. Wason has been employed for over twenty-five years in progressively-responsible positions in land use and transportation planning on the local, regional, and state level in Massachusetts and New Hamp-shire. She graduated with an SB from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Masters in Public Policy (MPP) from of Tufts University, and was a postgraduate scholar at the Radcliffe Institute of Har-vard University. She has received state, regional, and national planning awards and received the Envi-ronmental Service Award from the Mass. Association of Conservation Commissions in 2004. She was appointed by Governor Lynch to the New Hampshire Rail Authority and New Hampshire State Coordi-nating Council and was a member of the MBTA Advisory Board for eight years. In addition, she has been a member of numerous other councils, commissions, and boards. The mother of two college stu-dents, she resides with her husband in Manchester.

Fred Harwood, Vice President

Fred is a retired business executive. He held various positions in the computer systems industry. He lived in Tokyo, Japan for one year to open his company's first office in Asia. Most of his career was spent in sales, marketing, and service where he was regional marketing director, vice president international sales, and director of customer service. Fred has a mechanical engineering degree from Cornell University. He has served the university in several positions during the past fifteen years in alumni affairs and has received several awards. Fred works with Cornell admissions to interview applicants annually. He is a director of the Cornell Club of New Hampshire and resides in Bedford.

Bruno Victal, Member of the Board

Native to Brazil, Bruno Victal was a professional soccer player brought to this area by the NH Phantoms in 2001. Bruno was recognized as the best college player in Brazil in 1999 and represented his country in the World University Games in Spain, where he was the lead scorer of the Brazilian Team and was named MVP. Because of his success, Bruno was called up again by the national team in 2000 to play in France. Currently, as founder of Brazilian Arts Soccer Training, Bruno is one of the most sought-after coaches in Southern New Hampshire, having also worked with Hollis Atlantic and Nashua World Cup, as well as with Phantoms Super Y teams. He is passionate about soccer and enjoys relaying his skill and expertise to his students. Recently, one of his long-term students was chosen to the United States U15 Super Y Girls team.
